Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for OBC, 18 to 35 years for SC/ ST. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should Passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate, Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Hindustani Classical Vocal from any Govt recognized University/ Deemed University/ Institute or equivalent degree/ diploma certificate from recognized education Board for Post No.1, Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Classical instrumental-Violin(Carnatic Music) from any Govt recognized University/ Deemed University/ Institute or equivalent degree/ diploma certificate from recognized education Board for Post No.2..
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test & assessment talent.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- for UR & OBC candidates through IPO from any Post office drawn in favor of FA & CAO, South Western Railway, Hubli and payable at Hubli, SC/ ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Women candidates, Persons with disabilities, Minority candidates, EBC candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format i.e. available from the website www.swr.indianrailways.gov .in on A-4 size good quality paper, should be filled in his/ her own hand writing and signed along with two recent passport size photographs one has to affix on application form & self attested copies of relevant documents in respect of age, educational qualification, caste, cultural, crossed IPO, discharge certificate of ex-servicemen & ID proof envelope should be superscribed with “Application for Group ‘C’ against Cultural Quota for the year 2014-2015 to Assistant Personnel Officer/ HQ, Personnel Department.
