Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 15-22 years for Fresher candidates, between 15-24 for ITI candidates as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation (Matriculation/ 10th Class in 10+2 examination system) for Fresher Trade, Matriculation (Matriculation/ 10th Class in 10+2 examination system + ITI passed in relevant trade ) with certificate from Institutions affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade for ITI Trade.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on merit in Matriculation/ 10th Class in 10+2 examination system.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 20/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) only in favour of F.A & C.A.O.N.F. Railway, Maligaon payable to GPO/ Guwahati/ in the form of Account payee Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of F.A.. & C.A.O., N.F. Railway, payable at SBI/ Maligaon Branch.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send the Application & Call Letter in prescribed format must be submitted in fools cape paper duly filled in all respect by the candidate in own hand writing with ball point pen, 2 self addressed envelope of 11″ x 5″ with postal stamp of Rs. 5/-(SC/ ST are exempted), DD, 2 recent passport size photographs duly signed by the applicant & attested by the Gazetted Officer, one should be pasted on the application form, another should be pasted on the Call Letter-Cum-Admit Card, copies of all certificates of proof of date of birth, educational/ technical Qualification, Caste Certificate, Ex-serviceman certificate, physically handicap certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, Copy of local Employment Exchange Registration card should be enclosed duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, to Chief Workshop Manager/ N.F.Railway Carriage & Wagon Workshop/ New Bongaigaon, PIN-783381 on or before 17-11-2014 up to 4:00 P.M.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2015. (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board/ university (a pass in matriculation or equivalent in case of SC/ ST candidates), the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is not essential for candidates who possess higher qualification (i.e., above matriculation), Degree/ Diploma Certificate in the relevant stream from a Govt. recognized institute, Candidates should be able to perform in at least one more discipline/stream, preference will be given to candidates having proficiency in other musical streams as well.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Objective type written test, Proficiency test and Written Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay by an Indian Postal Order (IPO) of 100 (Rupees one hundred) only drawn in favour of “FA&CAO, NF Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati – 781 011, Assam” payable at Maligaon HQ Post Office, Guwahati – 781 011. Candidates must write their name and full address in the postal order. SC/ ST candidates, women, minorities and economically backward classes are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with all copies of certificates regarding age, educational qualification and other essential qualifications, two recent (of within two months) passport size photographs with name written on the top of the photograph should be clipped along with the application form duly attested by a gazetted officer so as to reach Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), N. F.
